Description of Project:
The front entry of the project and the side patio area were entirely concrete, which created a bland look for the entrance of this property in Kent Woodlands. The objective behind the redesign was to improve the materials and usable space in the front area around the existing swimming pool.

A new flagstone entryway and patio were installed, replacing the existing concrete and integrating with the existing pool. The existing redwood decking, which was at the end of it lifespan, was replaced with new Brazilian hardwood decking. A cable rail was installed and old lath fencing removed, greatly enhancing the view from the deck. A new front retaining wall at the driveway was installed with stone pillars and hardwood gate to match the deck and pedestrian entrance gate with arbor at the bottom of the driveway.

Accent features of lighting, barbeque island and water feature were installed with plantings in a few beds to finish off the retrofit of the existing landscape.
