Description of Project:
This large wooded parcel in Sonoma had a well developed residence but a large yard that had been neglected. The owner wanted to improve access and the sense of arrival to the residence.

Existing small decks were replaced with a unified deck with a distinctive flagstone entryway. From the entrance a decomposed granite path leads through California and Mediterranean plantings to a series of seating areas and decomposed granite ping pong and bocce area.

Around the back of the residence, in coordination with the pool being replastered, the existing pool wall and coping were replaced with Indian Sandstone and a matching Ledgestone. A lighting package was included for entry, dining and pathway areas, and to uplight the distinctive oak trees on site.
